The Visitors was initially accomplished as a trio by Christos Yerolatsitis on keys, Andreas Rodosthenοus on electric bass, Giorgos Koulas on drums, and recently by Giorgos Krasidis addition on saxophones as ‘visitor’ transformed to a quartet, and acquired its final name.

With the Plus 1 Malvina Charalambides on vocals the band perform pieces from the 70s and 80s pop jazz and soul music.

Malvina Charalambides

Malvina Charalambide is a professional singer and vocal coach born in Limassol, Cyprus. Her interest about music began at the very first years of her life. At the age of 11 she took part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest with a song she composed. After that she participated in many singing competitions where she got 1st places and awards. Later on, in 2013 she graduated from the University of Surrey in the UK, with a Degree of Bachelor of Music and Voice Performance. Alongside her studies she collaborated with many musicians with whom she recorded songs for projects and performed live. She is now a vocal coach, a songwriter and a professional singer collaborating with many musicians and bands in Cyprus.

Malvina Charalambides

Malvina Charalambide is a professional singer and vocal coach born in Limassol, Cyprus. Her interest about music began at the very first years of her life. Giorgos Krasidis

Giorgos Krasidids is included in the category of musicians whose long running collaboration and history with Paradise Jazz Festival have marked the success of the institution with numerous phenomenal performances.

George Krasidis is a Cypriot Jazz saxophonist, clarinetist, composer, conductor and educator.
Krasidis studied at Berklee college of Music, (tenor saxophone jazz performance) and at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, (Classical Saxophone Performance) and graduated Summa cum Laude.
Krasidis is among the most potent and influential jazz instrumentalists in the island of Cyprus with an active career for three decades. He is the founder and director of Jazzologia Cyprus Big Band and teaches the jazz idiom at the ARTE Music Academy in Nicosia, Cyprus. He is also the Bandmaster of Limassol Municipality Concert Band. He has performed and recorded several albums as a soloist and sideman.

Christos Yerolatsitis


Christos Yerolatsitis is a Cypriot pianist, keyboardist and composer. With an interest in various music genres, Christos’s music can be characterised as colourful, intuitive and diverse.
Christos moved to The Netherlands in 2009 where he studied Jazz piano performance at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague (BA 2009-2013) and Conservatorium van Amsterdam (MA 2013-2015).
Soon after his arrival he got into the Dutch jazz scene and performed all around the country with well known artists, such as Benjamin Herman, John Ruocco, Simon Rigter, Ben van den Dungen, Ben Van Gelder and others.
In 2016 he appeared in the biggest theatres of the country with the “Eef van Breen Group” in cooperation with the extremely successful theatre production “Borgen”.
In 2017 he moved to Mumbai where he got employed as the head of the Piano department of the True School of Music, one of India’s biggest music schools. During his stay in India, Christos has performed with many bands in music festivals and jazz clubs and shared the stage with names such as Ranjit Barot (John Maclaughlin’s drummer) and Erik Truffaz (trumpet) as well as Indian Carnatic musicians like Sabir Khan (Indian Sarangi player) and Bangalore Amrit (Indian Khanjira).
In 2018 Christos participated in the recording of the Eef van Breen Group’s new album “Walk of Doubts”. The record got released in 2019. The project has toured in major festivals and venues in The Netherlands such as Tivoli Vredenburg (Utrecht), Tolhuistuin (Amsterdam), Musis (Arnhem), Paradox (Tilburg), Regentenkamer (The Hague), Oosterpoort (Groningen), Odeon (Zwole) and De Lieve Vrouw (Amersfoort).
In 2019 he appeared in various Jazz festivals internationally with the Ioannis Vafeas Trio, such as the Gouvy Jazz & Blues Festival in Belgium, 14th Cyprus Rialto World Music Festival and Rhodes Jazz Festival. As a new member of the Michael Messios Symmetry Band he appeared at the 19th Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival in Greece and the 20th Paradise Jazz Festival in Cyprus.
In October 2019 he performed at the “Jazzclun Schlot” in Berlin with the a.R project as part of the 6th EUNIC jazz festival.
Christos is currently based in Cyprus working with various International bands as a leader and a sideman.

Andreas Rodosthenous


Andreas Rodosthenous was born in Limassol, Cyprus in 1977. He started music by playing the electric and acoustic guitar and later the electric bass. In 1999 he moved to Athens, were he recorded two cd's with the famous guitar player Christoforos Krokidis. During that time he toured in London to play in the Picadilli Theater with the singer Michalis Xatzigiannis.
In 2003 he took the audition in the Rotterdam 's Conservatory and he was the only one in his year to pass the exam. He studied with the great bass player Pieter Douma. In December 2004 he formed a band and toured in Switzerland along with eight dancers for concerts arranged by the foundation "Zanyce". Since then he played in many theaters and jazz clubs in the Netherlands, including the "Bimhuis" in Amsterdam, "Dizzy jazz clubTheater de Evenaar", "The White Elephant", all in Rotterdam, "Concordia theater in Enschede and many others.
In 2005 he and four others Thierry Castel, RobVriens, Ulas Aksuenger and Jasper van Damme started the band "EnaSes" were they play eastern traditional music but also original compositions. In September 2006 he played at the "Paradise Jazz Festival" with the band "Juba.
In October 2006 he travelled to Rio de Janeiro for a tour with Annaelis de Jong and the "Jobim project". June 2008 he played with the dub band "Brass Wood and Wires" at the “Fusion Festival” in Germany.
In 2010 he played with the Dutch Pianist Thierry Castel and drummer George Koulas in the first "Limassol Jazz Festival."
November 2012 he invited the Dutch trombone player and composer/arranger Ilja Reijngoud along with singer Elizabeth Simonian to Cyprus, for a presentation of Ilja's new cd “Around the World”.
October 2014, The "1st Jazz and World music festival" in Limassol, where he presented his own original music. May 2015 he records his first personal works with the title “Simplicity” with Giorgos Morfitis on the piano, Alkis Agathokleous on the ney and Stelios Xydias on the drums. The four of them form the “Andreas Rodosthenous Ethnic Jazz Ensemble” and travel to present it for the first time in the "EUNIC Jazz Festiva” in Berlin.
June 2015 played in the “15th Athens Technopolis Jazz festival" presenting his cd “Simplicity”.

Giorgos Koulas

George Koulas / drummer, percussionist, performer and music creator, has been active playing and creating music for the last 30 years in Cyprus and abroad.. He graduated at Codarts in 2002. He has been collaborating during his long and active career with numerous artists. He has been performing in Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Czech Republic, Spain, Germany, New Orleans, Boston etc. George Koulas is the most active musician for the needs of organizing and presenting all of Paradise Jazz Festival from his position as Art Director.
